Speaking, Teaching & Workshops

Teaching that leaves your team with tools, not just notes.

Speaking, Zoom teaching, webinars, and in-person workshops are available on a limited basis alongside the resource library.

Gina teaches in formats that fit the group and the season: Zoom sessions, live webinars, prerecorded trainings, board workshops, retreat sessions, and in-person speaking when the fit, timing, scope, and price are right. Each session is designed to leave people with clear understanding and practical tools, not just inspiration.

In addition to board and organizational teaching, Gina occasionally speaks for faith-based women’s retreats, conferences, and leadership gatherings, especially on themes of encouragement, clarity, faithfulness, healing, and practical next steps.

Topics

Sessions I'm asked for most

What your board is actually responsible for

A grounding session for new and seasoned board members: duties of care, loyalty, and obedience in plain language, plus the annual rhythm that keeps a small board healthy.

Best fit: Board orientations and annual retreats

Minutes that hold up

A working session for board secretaries — what to record, what to leave out, how to handle motions and corrections, and how to build a records system that survives turnover.

Best fit: Board secretaries and administrative teams

Practical stewardship in small organizations

Budgets, designated gifts, and financial oversight for organizations without a finance department — how to be trustworthy with limited capacity.

Best fit: Boards, finance committees, and ministry nonprofits

Steady leadership when the work is quiet

Encouragement for leaders serving in small places: discouragement, unclear expectations, volunteer fatigue, and how to keep going with integrity.

Best fit: Leadership retreats and gatherings

Teaching areas

What a session can cover

  • Board roles and responsibilities for small nonprofits
  • Board chair and board secretary basics
  • Meeting preparation, motions, minutes, and decision tracking
  • Practical governance for volunteer boards
  • HOA board basics for volunteer leaders
  • Leading with faith, clarity, and practical responsibility
  • Ministry leadership rhythms and avoiding burnout
  • Turning complex responsibilities into usable systems

Sessions offer education, plain-language guidance, and practical systems — not legal, tax, accounting, HR, or association-management advice. Where an issue calls for it, we'll name when to seek professional guidance.

Formats

Shaped to fit your group

  • Zoom teaching sessions and live webinars
  • Prerecorded trainings your team can watch together
  • Board workshops with worksheets and working time

Booking a session

Sessions are scheduled on a limited basis. Send a short note with your group, approximate size, the date or season you have in mind, and the responsibility your team is wrestling with. I'll reply with a recommendation, a proposed outline, and honest logistics.

Small nonprofits, independent ministries, and volunteer boards: please still reach out. I plan for a range of budgets and will tell you plainly what's workable.

Limited consulting inquiries are considered when the fit, scope, and timing are right. The primary focus of this work is practical tools, teaching, and resources that help leaders and boards take clearer next steps.
